Software Engineer – Python + Big Data
Location:
Tel Aviv, Israel.
Description:
Software engineer to join our cloud analytics team. This team works on a cutting edge analytics engine that consume cloud usage data and creates valuable analytics for cloud computing users. Development involves dealing with high scale, big data and parallel computing. We are looking for individuals that can fit into a dynamic start-up environment, independent, with a “can do” approach and great interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience
- Experience in Linux, object oriented programming, working with databases and server side development
- Python: hands-on experience is a must
- Other technologies: open-source projects and cloud services such as MongoDB, RabitMQ, Apache, MySQL, AWS, working knowledge of most, or equivalent technologies is required.
- Advantage: Web UI/UX knowledge, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Django, etc.
- Candidate must feel at home when dealing with everything-data, and be knowledgeable on ‘big-data’, databases, data-warehousing, statistics, analytics, business intelligence, pattern-recognition, machine-learning, data-mining, and complementary technologies.
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- English – very good writing/reading, good speaking.
