- How to Sign-Up for Amazon AWS: An account has to be created before you can start using AWS. AWS signs up this account for all its services. The user is charged only for the services he/she uses. Here’s how to sign-up for AWS.
- Visit http://aws.amazon.com, and click on Sign-Up Now.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- How to Manage Your AWS Account: You can manage your account at any time by visiting http://aws.amazon.com/account. Thereafter, you can view your account activity and current charges and also download your usage reports at the My Account page. By using Amazon CloudWatch also, you can monitor your charges. - How to Setup Auto-Scaling Tools: When it comes to Auto-Scaling, two tools are available that you can work with. These are the Command Line Tools (CLI), and the Query API. CLI, or command line tools, need to be installed on the computer with which one accesses Amazon EC2 resources on his/her AWS cloud.
