EBS Snapshot Copy is not incremental

When Copying EBS snapshots between regions, you need to bear in mind that as opposed to the local snapshots, copy operations are not incremental. This means that a snapshot of a 500GB volume will copy 500GB every time (it will be compressed, so it will be a bit less than that). That will affect you in terms of the time it takes to complete the copy operation and it will also affect you in terms of cost, both for storing the snapshot at the target region and data transfer fees.
